We need a good storyteller!

Description

We have run for over 18 years, with good results so far. However, our story needs to be told in a better way. Think you can tell our story in a new, fresh way that can help us raise engagement? A small introduction can be found below. You can find more information on our website: www.ajtkd.org/en The Jadir Taekwondo Association (AJTKD) is a non-profit organization, founded in 2000 in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, by a group of parents, educators and former athletes; which aims to help children and adolescents in social vulnerability through sports, cultural and social activities. In 18 years, more than 5,800 children and adolescents, who live mostly in areas dominated by criminal factions, have been assisted. Over the years, AJTKD has used sport as a tool for inclusion, integration and social transformation; and has been working to transform the lives of young people, stimulating youth protagonism and promoting their involvement in building a more fair and sustainable world. Through the Community Taekwondo Project, we offer free Taekwondo classes for children, teens and adults. In addition to contributing to their physical, motor and cognitive development, the project encourages students to seek and acquire healthy habits and attitudes, focusing on the development of their values, health and quality of life. Along with the practice of sport, we hold lectures on drugs, violence, the environment, gender equality, peacebuilding and other cross-cutting themes with students and their families. Through educational activities focused on the promotion of peace, we have been working to transform the lives of children and adolescents in social vulnerability. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=om7QC4RbhXA Below is a news article by the United Nations' Brazil office regarding our project: https://bit.ly/2HKFf6Q https://youtu.be/XmeTesozSuE
