Mission

Save the Children's Humanitarian Capacity Building team design and run specialist training programmes worldwide, for people who provide life-saving support on the frontlines of natural and man-made disasters. We are currently developing an exciting new online learning programme – the FIELD programme – targeted at mid-level managers of teams in emergency-prone regions, so they can prepare to rapidly upscale their operations, should a disaster occur. The programme will be completely open and free to anyone who needs it, but it is particularly targeted at national staff and national NGOs (i.e. those people responding to disasters in their own countries)

The Field Managers in Emergencies Learning and Development (FIELD) programme is a sector-wide training programme which has been designed in collaboration with various humanitarian organisations. We want it to have its own brand so that it isn’t associated with one particular NGO, and so that all the different pieces of content can be recognised as belonging to this one programme. As such, we'd love to connect with someone who has an appetite to contribute design skills to the programme, to develop a logo and banner image, to ensure we're generating interest and engaging the target audience in this exciting new training offer.
