Mission

Community Tech Aid is a community-focused organisation working to tackle digital exclusion and reduce electronic waste. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to the technology they need to participate fully in modern life. We collect donated devices, refurbish them with the help of volunteers, and redistribute them free of charge to charities, community groups, and individuals who need them most. By providing laptops and digital equipment, we support people to access education, apply for jobs, connect with services, and build essential digital skills. Through partnerships with local organisations and councils, as well as a growing volunteer community, Community Tech Aid is creating more equal access to technology while promoting sustainability and community empowerment across South London.
