Mission

Hello! We are Edward Woods Community Centre, and we run a wide range of activities and events for residents of all ages and backgrounds in our community. Some of the sessions we host include tea dances, taekwondo, Pilates, digital and tech workshops, arts and cultural events, cooking classes, and community dinners, among many others. We’re currently looking for pro bono marketers or volunteers who would be interested in supporting us with marketing and communications. In particular, we would really value help with: • Promoting our events to reach more local residents • Creating digital marketing campaigns (social media, newsletters, online promotion, etc.) • Helping us develop a stronger brand identity so that more people in the community know about our activities • Sharing ideas and strategies on how we can grow awareness and participation Our centre plays an important role in bringing people together, supporting wellbeing, and creating opportunities for connection across different cultures and generations. Any time, expertise, or guidance you could offer would make a real difference. If you’re interested in getting involved or learning more, we would love to hear from you.
