Globally, Child to Child is a child rights organisation that champions children’sright to be listened to and taken seriously.We believe that children should be involved in all matters which affect them.Our award-winning approach inspires them to work together to change theirworld, leading to healthier, safer lives and better access to education.Based at the UCL Institute of Education, we have been equipping the world’sleading agencies (Save the Children, Unicef) to work with children in thistransformative way for over 30 years.

Every day, children right across the globe are suffering the effects of abuse, neglect and poverty. Seen as little more than adult possessions, their voices go unheard, their opinions ignored. Overlooked and undervalued, they are victims of circumstance rather than agents of change. By focusing on the problem, we often miss the solution; that when children work together they can change their world. Despite 25 years of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, children are still not recognised as equal to adults. We are at a watershed moment. Globally, decisions are being made to combat poverty and promote development that will impact upon generations to come. Children have a unique perspective. They should play a part in shaping this agenda and holding decision makers to account.
