Here in Cambodia, with its dark, recent history and limited education, international volunteering is almost a fully-fledged industry in itself. Almost everyone comes with great intentions, however, volunteer skills are often insufficient, not successfully matched or not utilised to develop the skills of local people. We believe local people are the leaders of their own communities. Sustainable, long-term impact is possible with the right skills in the right place and where possible, they are passed onto local people. Social Media Expert/ Volunteer from remote

Description

We are looking for a pair of extra, but experienced, hands that can help pro-bono our not for profit organization. The purpose would be to raise our profile, enhance our credibility as a trusted professional international volunteering organization and, ideally, outreach as many prospect volunteers as possible through targeted social media posts and blog articles. We are based in Cambodia, Siem Reap, but (unless you are willing to come and volunteer on site ! ) we can work from remote via email, share material on google drive or talk via skype, messenger or whatsapp video call. We are looking for a 3 month time project, which is what is needed to get to know each other and do something meaningful. together. You can decide how many hours / week dedicate to the project. In exchange of your valuable support, we can add your name and photo to our website staff page, and, of course, provide references at the end of the project. We'd be also happy to leave space to your creativity and allow you to learn and experiment.
