I am a friendly, energetic and inquisitive Illustrator with a passion for ideas. Throughout my career I have developed a deep knowledge of increasing engagement through illustration and communicating ideas in punchy and exciting ways. In the past I have illustrated for School Of Hard Knocks, a global charity helping to reduce unemployment. I helped to make a worksheet for children from challenging backgrounds, it was my job to ensure the worksheet is approachable non threatening to gain the best engagement from the children. I have also illustrated for SOHK's Wellness week, ensuring the viewers understood what wellness week was and how it effected them. I have also worked for The Big Draw, a charity helping visual literacy in children. I edited film, created a powerpoint and two awards. The assets produced helped to engage children which in turn helped to increase funding for the Big Draw. Most recently I was lucky enough to help run a workshop with ZS Associates, providing drawing lessons and live drawing. My aim was to make an end of year seminar more entertaining and lighthearted, whilst also collating vast amounts of information into an easily digestible illustration in the space of a day. Every week I draw for Underpinned's short reads, and have been doing so for over a year. This is has increased readership and engagement with Underpinned's output.
