Additional Information
Cambodia has one of the highest mortality rates for children under five years of age in Southeast Asia. In response, Angkor Hospital for Children has been providing compassionate, quality health care in Siem Reap, Cambodia since 1999. During this time Angkor Hospital for Children has developed a wealth of expertise in paediatric, nursing and hospital management. This expertise is being shared with other health care institutions across Cambodia, with healthcare workers and nursing students, and with the Cambodian Government.
AHC has Outpatient and Inpatient, Neonatal, Emergency and Intensive Care, Surgical (including cardiac-surgery), Eye (including eye-cancer care), Dental, Physiotherapy, Social Work and HIV/Homecare units. We see an average of more than 500 children in our Outpatient Department alone, and performed more than 500 heart surgeries to date.
Through our three-pronged approach of Treatment, Education and Prevention, we are changing the face of paediatric healthcare in Cambodia.
