Positive Impact Events is a not-for-profit which ensures sustainability in the event industry. Our vision is to have a sustainable event industry by 2020. We do this by providing education materials, collaborating with event professionals and campaigning to promote sustainable event initiatives. We have worked tremendously hard to make event professionals aware of the need to be sustainable and the results have been inspiring. All this could not be achieved without our amazing team of interns. We have several internship roles available including a content intern, a partnerships intern, a social media intern, a design intern and an associates intern. All these roles require excellent written and oral communication skills, organisational and leadership skills and a desire to make the planet more sustainable. The internship offers you an opportunity to be part of something incredibly important as well as relevant work experience for all careers. We treat you like a proper employee and give you responsibility with our projects from day one. Based in the heart of Manchester, in Northern Quarter, we require our interns to work around 12 hours per week (days and hours are flexible to suit you, however we do ask that come into the office on Thursday mornings for a team meeting) for a period of three months.
