Their Future Today is a grassroots non-governmental organization, working to improve the lives of disadvantaged children in Sri Lanka, by preventing abandonment, finding families for children to live in, providing education and training and transforming care in existing orphanages.Their Future Today is collaborating with global partners and the National Child Care Services to close orphanages by developing family care alternatives to give children the futures they deserve, while creating a new child care system that puts families first and raising the standards in institutions to ensure the human rights of every child is met in accordance with the United Nations Conventions on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).Our vision is a world where institutionalized care for children no longer exists. A world where all children have names and not numbers and where every child understand the meaning of 'family' 'love' and 'school'.
