PatchWorks exists to help community organisations - local charities, community businesses, social enterprises - show the real value of what they do. We work alongside local partners to build clear, credible evidence of their impact, using simple, practical approaches. This helps them tell stronger stories, attract funding, and grow their work. Ultimately, we believe better evidence leads to stronger, more connected communities.

Note I have selected category as "Children & Youth" as I was forced to pick one. But in reality PatchWorks supports every cause and social challenge we see in our communities. You can see from my first set of reports & credentials (link below) that they span youth, food security, sport, music, and support children excluded from education. The common theme? Community. The power of getting kids and all of us off screens, into the real world, and making lives better. https://patchworks.org.uk/impact-stories/ My challenge? Comms & marketing. I need to take the Covaluation Reports (the main product I produce) and turn them into brilliant stories (comms products I can use in email, website, LinkedIn) that help me bring in more organisations, and generate even more impact.

Description

PatchWorks works with community organisations (typically local charities, community groups & social businesses) survive and thrive by proving their impact. The delivery side of my business is excellent. I have delivered my first 5 clients and the resulting evaluation reports and customer testimonials have been really positive: https://patchworks.org.uk/impact-stories/. And are having a positive knock on impact on those communities. My background is consulting and startups. I am a builder - I've built charities, services, tech, teams. I'm great at that aspect. But my weakness is comms & marketing. I don't like, and I am not good at it. I believe I have a service with huge potential, but need help with how to get it out in front of the right audiences with the right messages.
