Mission

London Arts in Health Forum is a membership organisation which aims to develop the role of culture in wellbeing and to promote and support arts in health activity across London and nationally. LAHF supports artists and health professionals across the whole of London and beyond, promoting excellence and engagement in the field of arts and wellbeing, and extending the reach of the arts to communities and individuals who would otherwise be excluded. Many people are excluded from mainstream arts opportunities, yet it is often these people whose health and wellbeing could be most enhanced through such engagement. Through its activities, LAHF works to promote, develop and support the understanding of what the arts can do to contribute to a healthy society, in London and nationally, and by so doing to encourage the use of the arts in settings beyond the mainstream. The organisation’s key ambition for the next five years is to explicitly widen the focus of activities to encompass all sections of society, at risk of exclusion from arts provision, but for whom access to arts activities could enhance wellbeing, social inclusion and strengthen communities.

Rebranding

Description

I have just taken the helm of a great charity London Arts in Health Forum which aims to develop the role of culture in wellbeing and to promote and support arts in health activity across London and nationally. We are a very small charity (with two part time paid staff but a very solid board) and feel as though the name of the charity no longer reflects what we do. We would love some help in rebranding the charity to make it more public facing and more mainstream.

Marketing our Creative and Wellbeing Week

Description

We run a yearly week http://www.creativityandwellbeing.org.uk/ Now in its eighth year, Creativity and Wellbeing Week has grown to nearly 350 events in London in 2018, with over 35,000 people attending talks, workshops, performances, exhibitions and discussions. We feel as though this may only be reaching an already 'warm' audience and would love to find corporate sponsorship to help fund the week, either for next year or going forward. Would love some help in marketing this week and really shaping it into something more mainstream/ with a purpose.

Rebranding support

Description

We want to completely refresh who we are and what we look like and even what we are called. I need someone who can give me some 'hands on' support by helping us through a visual brand refresh, including someone who can design us a new logo and brand guidelines. I have a good idea of what we want to communicate but need someone who can create our visual identity and also then create assets which can be used across all our platforms. Arts and creativity in wellbeing is a really exciting sector at the moment and we want to better support those in society who are most in need of these activities from singing for dementia to drama in schools.

Content producer/ manager

Description

We are (hopefully) going to be launching a new website soon to go with a brand refresh. Our problem is we have a lot of content but it is currently all over the place! We would love for someone to help us re-write content mainly for our website but also that can be reversioned for social media. If someone has project management experience in this area we would also love to hear from you. We want to make sure that what goes onto our website is relevant, written in our voice, useful and well organised. If you like to organise or plan content for a platform then even better!

PR/ Media Help

Description

We are revamping our charity and want to pull together resources and case studies for journalists. We are a membership organisation and support over 4000 projects in London who provide arts and creative activity to improve health or wellbeing. There are some amazing stories out there and we want to do our best to raise our profile and the profile of these projects. We also hope to make the idea of creativity and wellbeing far more mainstream, we liken it to how mindfulness became a bit of a 'cure all' a few years ago. We have plenty of willing case studies, some great visual stories, lots of compelling evidence and a lot of content gathered already. We just need someone to pull it all together into some kind of accessible and captivating area for our website/media pack which can be sent out to journalists. If anyone wants to work out a news line and do any PR planning/press release writing then we would love you even more! The work can be done remotely and we have no particular deadline.
