A UK registered charity providing support to patients and families touched by Vascular Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (vascular EDS) across the UK and globally. We are also proud recipients of The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service. At the heart of the charity is Annabelle, the inspiration behind our patient organisation which was created in 2013 and our ultimate aim of "Our Challenge To Find Your Cure" for everyone affected by this condition.
Family Support
Annabelle's Challenge is the UK charity for Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (vascular EDS), a rare life limiting genetic disorder. We raise funds for research, awareness campaigns and offer support and advice for people living with the condition. The charity also works closely with the NHS Ehlers-Danlos National Diagnostic Service with clinics in Sheffield and London. To help raise the profile of vascular EDS, Annabelle's Challenge hosts the global awareness campaign #REDS4VEDS Day which takes place on the third Friday of May each year.
Our charity has just turned 6. We are looking to raise awareness of the work we do for our rare disease community. We feel the time is right to put together a marketing campaign including social media. We also host the annual global campaign #REDS4VEDS and would like input into how to grow this campaign.
