Mission

We are an environmental charity working to bring rivers back to life in the south-east of England. Our vision is to achieve healthy rivers for all by delivering outstanding river ecosystem enhancement through science-based action, collaboration, education and engagement. We are grassroots, working with local people and empowering them to make a positive change to their local river environment. We run several volunteering programmes to this effect, including our infamous river cleanup events which remove up to 60 tonnes of rubbish from urban rivers annually. We deliver high-quality river improvements on the ground, putting back the natural processes and habitats that our rivers need in order to support a high diversity of wildlife.
