Experience

For the past five years I have worked in the financial services industry in Madrid and the UK as a financial translator, proofreader and editor. My previous work experience includes working as a financial editor for a broker in Madrid (2013-2016), and I have over three years experience working as a translator for a Spanish bank in London (2016-present). I am a native speaker of English and fluent in Spanish. I am currently retraining in the marketing and advertising industry. I have completed a Level 4 Certificate in Digital Marketing qualification with the Chartered Institute of Marketing. I have studied international marketing as part of my Undergraduate Degree in Spanish and Business Administration. In terms of my practical marketing experience, I would highlight: providing administrative support to the marketing team, preparing marketing materials for corporate events using MS Office and spreadsheets, assisting the marketing content writing group by editing and proofreading copy in English, monitoring and editing content across the website and corporate blog, ensuring the consistency of brand message and tone across all channels, ranscreation, localisation and copywriting experience, translation and editing of digital in-house marketing campaigns for international stakeholders and overseeing logistics and distribution of marketing materials for corporate events.
