Personal Introduction

Originally from Ireland, I have now been living and working in London for 7 years! I work full-time in the corporate world but am keen to offer my skills and free-time to a not-for-profit organisation that has a strong societal impact. I have previously volunteered with sporting organisations plus charities that support those with learning difficulties - these two areas are very close to my heart! Please get in touch if you feel that I would be a good match for your 'help wanted ad'. If you are London/Dublin based, then I am happy to meet you for a coffee to discuss your needs and how I can help. If you are based further afield then let's do a Skype call.

Experience

I have 9 years of experience working in communications and marketing. My day-to-day role is acting as a brand manager for hair care products at Church & Dwight UK Ltd. The consumer brands I currently manage are predominantly sold via online retailers plus our own e-commerce websites. Therefore I feel that the key expertise I can offer lie in digital marketing. I would be happy to carry out a Google Analytics audit on your website to help build insights about your audiences and thereby assist in the development of a strategic marketing plan. I will also offer recommendations as to how you can improve your website metrics. Social media wise, I currently manage Facebook and Instagram brand pages and can advise your charity on how to get the most out of these platforms. As a marketeer, I have a vast amount of experience in more traditional marketing too - e.g. copy writing, briefing graphic designers, managing PR agencies, event management, video directing - therefore if these areas are important too I can also lend support here.
