Additional Information

ORCA is dedicated to ending the homeless condition in the Pacific Northwest through a cohesive system of care that delivers culturally competent, compassionate and consist services to individuals and families in need. Although we are a new organization, our leadership and board of directors have strong backgrounds in providing evidence based treatment and services in both private and government settings. currently services are focused on Summit House, a transitional housing program for women and children. In this facility up to seven (7) families life in a home-style environment where each family member receive dedicated services tailored to their specific needs with the ultimate outcome of having each family move into self-sustained permanent housing embracing a model of wellness, resiliency and recovery. Further, ORCA is in the business of families and family reunification, so we work closely with local child protection agencies and the local courts to provide services to mothers who are ready to be reunited with their children in a safe, positive and healthy setting. At ORCA we believe that under the shelter of others, we are always thriving, not surviving.

New Non-Profit Seeks Cutting Edge Outreach

Description

Our Resilient Community Alliance is a new non profit in Clallam County, WA, a rural county with high rates of homelessness, poverty, disability, crisis, and trauma. Our agency encourages resiliency, hope, recovery, and the ability to thrive, not just survive by transitioning individuals and families into jobs, life skills, and permanent housing that is sustainable and ongoing. We place a special emphasis on vulnerable individuals and families who are LGBTQIA+, veterans, older adults, and transitional age youth. With only two founders and an intern, we are unable to meet much of the marketing, advertising, and media demands to get our word out into the community. We are committed to helping everyone who asks for it. We want our community to thrive, not survive. We need help creating a cutting edge, modern campaign that embraces the best aspects of traditional and new media. Can you help?
