Strengthening Feeding Isle of Wight's Website and Communications
Description
As Feeding Isle of Wight continues to grow, we urgently need to complete and significantly improve our website and communications so they accurately reflect the scale, professionalism and impact of our work. While we have begun developing a new website, it is currently being created in-house using limited resources and does not yet meet the standard we need. It lacks the professional design, functionality and compelling storytelling required to engage visitors, inspire confidence and support funding applications. We are looking for specialist support to transform it into a website that truly represents our organisation and the communities we serve. We need support to: Complete and professionally redesign our existing website. Create a modern, accessible and compassionate online presence that reflects our mission and values. Clearly communicate the full range of services we provide, including our community pantry, surplus food redistribution, digital inclusion and community support. Improve our messaging and storytelling through powerful case studies, photography and impact data. Strengthen our credibility with funders, donors, businesses and strategic partners. Create an engaging user experience that makes it easy for people to access support, volunteer, donate, partner with us and learn about our work. Showcase the measurable impact we are making across the Isle of Wight through clear outcomes and evidence. Why Your Support Matters Demand for our services continues to increase, and every week we support hundreds of people across the Isle of Wight through affordable food, rescued surplus food, community partnerships and practical support. A professional website and stronger communications are no longer a luxury—they are essential to our future sustainability. They will enable us to secure vital funding, build new partnerships, increase donations, recruit more volunteers and ensure that people who need our support can easily find and access our services. Most importantly, a high-quality website will allow us to tell the story of Feeding Isle of Wight in a way that reflects the true scale of our work: reducing food waste, tackling food insecurity and building stronger, healthier and more resilient communities across the Isle of Wight.
