Mission

The mission of Women’s Empowerment is to educate and empower women who are homeless with the skills and confidence necessary to get a job, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and regain a home for themselves and their children. Our nonprofit is Women's Empowerment and our Social Enterprise, which needs marketing assistance, is The Get A Job Kit. The Get A Job Kit business hires and trains women striving to overcome barriers to employment. The women gain skills in assembly, inventory control, and quality assurance. The Get A Job Kit is then sold to job readiness and educational institutions across the country to empower job seekers of all ages and backgrounds with the tips and tools they need to outshine their competitors and get the job they want.

Help to End Homelessness

Description

We are a Social Enterprise of Women’s Empowerment, a non-profit in Sacramento that educates and empowers women experiencing homelessness with the skills and confidence to get a job and excel in the workplace. Women assemble our Get A Job Kits which are then sold to job readiness and educational institutions across the country to empower job seekers of all ages and backgrounds with the tips and tools they need to outshine their competitors and get the job they want. All proceeds are reinvested into our program to continue supporting women experiencing homelessness. We have a useful product that supports an essential mission. We need help spreading awareness of our program and kits to continue the work we are doing with the most vulnerable members of our community.
