The ATD Foundation is a football charity whose mission is to empower young vulnerable Zambians to develop sustainable livelihoods through quality education and health activities. Our academy programme ensures that the young people we work with are given opportunities that help them overcome disadvantage and lack of opportunity so that they can reach their full potential and thrive. Young people emerge from our programmes with new skills to succeed in school, the workforce and in life. We believe that football clubs do not always have to be run for private profit, and if used in the right way, can be used to engage and affect positive social change in people in a way that little else can. This approach is known as Sport for Development and our model uses this transformative power to change the future for young people in Zambia.
The ATD Foundation will be undergoing a rebrand to realign our focus and to communicate better with our supporters. We have the new name and logo ready and now need help building the website on wordpress. Whilst I have made a start on this, I would really appreciate any development support to help improve the website.
