Goodwill Caravan is a small grassroots humanitarian charity operating in the UK and in Greece. We are registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales (registration no 1176314).Our vision is of world in which children affected by war or natural disaster can live safe and fulfilled lives. Our mission is, to identify the most vulnerable families in danger of malnutrition, human trafficking, organ trade, abuse and those sleeping rough on the streets, development sustainable long term solutions. We are a dynamic and passionate group of people which focuses to better opportunities for vulnerable refugees.Since 2015, we have helped over 50,000 refugees via our disaster relief work and kept hundreds of vulnerable refugee families off the streets through our shelter programmes. Goodwill Caravan intervenes via key core programmes, where the need is the greatest:· Emergency Shelter: Providing emergency housing, food allowance, medical and legal aid to homeless vulnerable refugee families and orphaned children, until their asylum process is complete. Housing can be from 3 months to 14 months in duration depending on the families’ asylum claim process.· Emergency Medical Cover:Facilitating and covering complex medical and surgical interventions for children victims of wars, where there are no other alternatives. · Asylum Office / Detention appeals:Providing free legal aid is available to asylum seekers through the GWC Legal Aid Board to assist at all stages of the international protection process.
