equitysport is a UK based charity that exists to advance equality, diversity and equal opportunity in global sport in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Through free-form development, education and targeted advocacy, we seek an inclusive global sporting landscape that lives up to the true values of sport; where anyone can strive to participate and realise their potential on an equal footing to anyone else, whoever they are, wherever they come from and whatever their background. With an expert in-house team and network of world-renowned consultants, boasting over hundreds of years of collective experience at every level of sport, business and law all over the world, equitysport is determined to be recognised as one of the most imaginative, innovative and effective charities in sport that can succeed where others can’t or won’t.

equitysport exists to make global sport fairer. We strive to promote, advance and deliver equality and equal opportunity in sport, for all, through relevant, accessible, sustainable and locally-driven projects and targeted advocacy campaigns to encourage fair policy development on a global level. Our approach is non-hierarchical, free-form, and holistic, combining both a bottom-up and top-down approach to sports development. ​We stand in solidarity with athletes and teams from disadvantaged, deprived and marginalized communities and support their efforts to take control of their sporting destiny. We ensure that local athletes, coaches, administrators and support personnel are involved in the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of our work. equitysport actively seeks out ways to be held accountable to sports organisations hamstrung by logistical, financial and socio-cultural barriers to sporting excellence. We proactively identify individuals, organisations, sporting bodies and institutions with an obligation to uphold the commitments and aspirational values of sport and support and encourage their efforts to fulfil their responsibilities. On a local level, we work with others to maximise the impact of our work, building alliances and partnerships with those who offer complementary approaches, services and products or are able to help our approaches realised on a larger scale.
