Additional Information

At FarmEco, getting involved is as much about people as it is about the land. Founded in 2017 as a Community Benefit Society in rural Nottinghamshire, we bring together volunteers, families, and local groups through hands-on sustainable farming, conservation workshops, and outdoor activities. Beyond restoring local biodiversity, being part of FarmEco is a powerful way to boost your own wellbeing. Working outdoors in nature lowers stress, improves physical fitness, and provides a rewarding sense of purpose. It’s also a warm, welcoming space where lasting friendships are made over shared passion and outdoors teamwork. Whether you are learning new skills in organic crop care or simply enjoying a walk through our countryside, you'll leave feeling refreshed, connected, and energized.

Help FarmEco Share Our Story: Marketing & Outreach Specialist

Description

"I never knew this place existed!" We hear this all the time from visitors who step onto FarmEco for the first time. Based in Screveton, Nottinghamshire, FarmEco is a vibrant Community Benefit Society dedicated to sustainable farming, wildlife conservation, and connecting people with nature. While our community of volunteers loves what we do, we need a passion-driven marketer to help us stop being Nottinghamshire's best-kept secret. We are looking for a creative marketing volunteer to help us design and implement an outreach strategy that turns local awareness into active participation. Key Objectives & Outcomes: Grow Our Community: Expand our reach to boost newsletter sign-ups and grow our paid/active membership base. Drive Produce Sales: Promote our farm shop and local, sustainably grown produce to the surrounding community. Expand Educational & Corporate Booking: Increase outreach to local schools for farm visits and connect with businesses for corporate volunteer and team-building days. Mobilize Volunteers: Help us attract passionate volunteers to join our hands-on farming, conservation, and wellbeing programs. How You Can Help: Help refine our messaging across digital channels (social media, newsletter campaigns, local media). Identify key local channels, community boards, and networks to market our school programs and corporate offerings. Pitch creative ideas to showcase the beauty and impact of FarmEco to a wider audience. If you love nature, community building, resilient local food systems and strategic marketing, we’d love to collaborate with you.
