Personal Introduction

I am a versatile senior marketing professional with 13 years experience across the full marketing mix. I am as comfortable in the board room as I am on the ‘shop floor’ and can telescope in to the smallest detail and out to the big picture. I already do pro bono marketing for Poltimore House, a 16th Century mansion house in Exeter, where I am now a Trustee and as I am greatly enjoying trying my hand at something different I would like to do similar for another cause. I have a pragmatic approach to marketing without compromising on creativity or quality and I focus on meeting targets and getting tangible results. Creatively minded, I am also commercially astute and evaluate the impact marketing activities have on the bottom line. I am one of the few marketers who tend to get on well with finance directors! As a generalist marketer, my career spans many industries, activities and cultures.
