Mission

Our dual goal is to alleviate poverty and arrest deforestation on the western fringe of the Amazon basin. We do this by supporting practical advice and support together with a long term capital commitment in order to introduce professional land management expertise, based on permaculture principles and including micro-forestry enterprise using native tree species.

We are a not for profit cooperative society regsitered in the UK. We raise investment by issuing withdrawable shares and loan stock, with a modest rate of interest which accrues until our local enterprises in Bolivia are fully sustainable. We also seek support through our tree sponsorship scheme as an alternative to selling carbon credits, which do not take sufficient regard of the wider social and environmental impacts of carbon emissions..
