Mission

Nia Children's Foundation works with local African suppliers to provide food supplies and educational materials to non-government run schools in Africa's slums. We feed 765 children a daily breakfast and lunch across 2 schools in the Kenyan slums. It costs just £5 to feed and educate one child for an entire month The word Nia means life’s purpose in Swahili, the language spoken in Kenya. In our eyes ensuring these children are healthy and receiving an education allows them to provide for themselves in the future... this is our life’s purpose.

I am the Founder of Nia Children's Foundation which I have been independently managing voluntarily for the last ten years around my full time work. The aim of my charity is to support children in Kenya into education by providing schools with food supplies and education materials. I work with local African suppliers to provide the children with a daily breakfast and lunch to ensure they are healthy and focused in class. I currently feed over 765 children across two schools in the Kenyan slums of Mathare.

Wordpress help for small Kenyan kids charity

Description

My name is Shez and I started my charity 11 years ago. I feed and educate 765 kids in the Mathare slums of Kenya. I run the charity voluntarily in the evenings and weekends around my full-time work. I am looking for someone to support me in my Wordpress website which uses an elegant theme at the moment. I need help understanding how to use the the back end and update items. I need someone for a few hours a week for a month or so to support me and teach me everything I need to know to be able to run my own website.
