Literacy delivered over 7000 hours of free one-on-one tutoring this year using 140 trained tutors and 200 total volunteers. We were able to provide over $400,000 in services for less than $60,000. as far as I can tell this is the most effecient Charity (certainly in Canada) We help Children's literacy through innovative programs such as "Kids Reading to Dogs" and Bears and Beams buddy reading in elementary schools
