Personal Introduction

I have been working as a marketeer for the past 3 years and have gained plenty of experience from early stages of product development to selling in the UK and overseas. I have been instrumental in managing the brand of a new product and developing sales in new markets. My interests outside of marketing and advertising include rugby, badminton, music, film and the theatre.

Experience

Charity work: 1) Created artwork to promote Giftaid in RSPCA Cambridge charity shops. 2) I organised for my colleagues to take part in the London to Brighton cycle and helped raise over £1000 for the British Heart Foundation and other fantastic charities. 3) I've taken part in two Orange Rockcorps projects where I helped clear our local river (wellies and black bin bags) and redecorating a community centre. 4) I worked for a short time with a relative at Action for Blind People (now operating under RNIB). I assisted the marketing team with links to their website and I learnt alot about the marketing processes in charities. The satisfaction from helping the wider community gives me enormous pleasure and I wish I could dedicate more of my time to causes close to my heart.
