Help us put an end to violence!We are a small but ambitious South West based charity called Stand Against Violence.www.standagainstviolence.co.uk.I started the charity 10 yrs ago following the murder of my brother and we have grown from strength to strength. Our focus is on reducing violence through education and we have achieved some dramatically positive results including reduced bullying, fighting and reoffending. Our vision is to go beyond regional and get ourselves recognised as a leading and go to charity in the violence prevention arena. We have specialist knowledge, highly trained staff, are currently undertaking our own research in conjunction with Liverpool John Moores University and maintain up to date knowledge on issues around violence and prevention.Press releases, blogging, social media, PR, brand awarenessWe are looking for someone to voluntarily support us to get our name and profile out into the media on a more regular basis. We currently have no one to do this and we really want to focus on increasing our brand awareness and profile in preparation for a conference next year. We would welcome a few volunteers to share this role as we dont have funds to pay nor the expertise needed to crack into national media. Ideally we are looking for someone or a few people to get us and our name into the media, bring our social media up to par, do some regular blogs and help in any other way to get our name out there ie ensuring we can get our name involved in hot topics and current stories around violence.If you are interested and feel able to help us I would be very pleased to hear from you.
