We recognise the challenges our teenage girls face today, the symptoms of early sexualisation, peer pressure, celebrity culture and body image obsession are all around us - eating disorders, self harming, teen pregnancies and alcohol abuse are all on the increase and there has never been more need for positive female role models to step up and show the way.Our mission is simple.... To empower teenage girls in the UK to believe in themselves, to give them emotional resilience and to raise their aspirations.  We are creating shining stars.

We are an award winning social enterprise on a mission to raise the aspirations of teenage girls in the UK way way way beyond a glamour model, WAG or teen Mum!  We do this by creating and delivering early intervention programmes in schools focussed on improving confidence, self esteem, capabilities and emotional resilience. In 2010 we launched a UK wide mentoring programme called BIG SISTER harnessing role models across the UK to engage in a 12 month mentoring relationship with a teenage girl and the results have been awesome! Our work is all about helping girls to find their voice, step up and believe in themselves, make better choices and shine.
