Additional Information

We run a community centre which serves the Crystal Palace and Penge in the London Borough of Bromley. The association has continued to support our local community during the past 2 years, although the hall site we have managed for 20 years was handed over for redevelopment, leaving us without a base.  This has severely affected our income and reduced the services we have been able to offer. However we have continued to work with the council in support of local initiatives to keep the area well kempt.  We have ensured that the multi-use sports facility was built with appropriate fencing, so that young people have a place to play sport and generally congregate and we have continued with the young people’s garden project to help them take ownership of their public spaces and reduce wanton damage.  We have assisted local people to access services especially in times of crisis. The new building has full disabled access and comprises a medium sized community hall, small meeting room, office and community resources area, small kitchen and outdoor Multi Use Games Area.
