Apr 03, 2015

The 28th May is International Menstrual Hygiene Day. A day which celebrates the progress made in helping people around the world manage their menstruation more effectively and to raise awareness of the myths and taboos surrounding menstruation. 2015 is only the second year this international day is happening, but it is likely to get a lot of media attention this year as menstrual hygiene has come more into the public eye and there are a large amount of partners involved. We hope to coordinate a menstrual hygiene public event on 28th May, partnering with other charities and organisations involved with Menstrual Hygiene based in the Bristol area including FRANK Water.
