Barbara Coleman signed up to Pimp My Cause in the first month we launched over eight years ago.

She has generously donated her skills to multiple causes over the years and has helped with everything from strategy to design. 

Earlier this year she created fundraising materials for Hand on Heart Charity to support their efforts to raise much needed funds to buy more live-saving defibrillators for children.

Emma Short, Training and Development Co-ordinator at Hand on Heart, said: ‘We wanted to say a huge heartfelt thank you to Barbara for helping out Hand on Heart Charity.

'We are just a small dedicated charity of two people who are very passionate about saving children’s lives with defibrillators. Sadly 270 children lose their lives every week in the UK from a Sudden Cardiac Arrest and the only definite treatment is the use of a defibrillator and CPR within the first few vital minutes.

'We have no marketing skills and know-how and so for Barbara to come along and help us is a fantastic boost to our charity as this means we will be able to raise awareness and raise our profile with the work that Barbara has done.

'Barbara has supported us with her artistic skills and knowledge by designing posters and leaflets that will enable us to raise valuable funds for our charity. Barbara has been a true professional throughout and has always been very approachable when we have asked questions and has been very quick at designing the artwork for us. We really cannot thank her enough for helping us.’
